Lent- Day Three

MassArt Art Museum, Boston
"Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn." Isaiah 60 verse 3

I write this on the day called Epiphany. It is the day we celebrate a group of wise and learned travellers  make a vast journey to discover answers to the paradox we call life.  What they discover is literally very little (a baby).  But it is also a vital seed of hope - the ray of early light heralding a new day.

The wise travellers signify to me that anyone who is open to discovering the 'truth' embedded in creation will find it.  If you seek, you will find.  This is for all people from the stone age, across pre-Columbian America, and into the far reaches of Siberia.  Vincent Donovan, in his book 'Christianity Rediscovered' explains his experience of describing Jesus for the first time to Massi people and hearing that they already understood and related to this person.

Question: How do I remain in the presence of the Creator?

Prayer:  May I always stay stay with you, and never leave.
