Thirteenth Day of Lent - Frustration

 "And somewhere here lives a
small frustration…,"

How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.  Psalm 13

From the moment of being disturbed in the womb, we were born into frustration.  As Roger Button once said, why not set the gauge in life to 'Standard'.  The way things are is the way we expect things to be.  Anything better is a bonus.  But we believe that Frustration is only for a time.  It's time will pass.  As the Psalmist says, "I trust... and I rejoice....  This is based on real experience.

PRAYER:  Help me when I become frustrated.  Help me to remember it is but for a time.  May I cope with these frustrations.
