My colleague Danica told me that her father-in-law told her that her name meant 'the devil'. Apparently Danica in polish is the morning star. And yes I did quote those verses back on day five (Isaiah 14:12). So what's going on here?
My enquiries have shown me that the 'morning star' is full of illusions. It appear low in the sky, so fits with the idea of Satan as 'a fallen angel', fallen from high in the sky.
The morning star is bright and penetrating also. It stands out from the others. Our eye are drawn to it. I like the idea also that we have to discern what is good, and what evil. Sometimes what appear good, is not so, and visa versa.
